Mayor Bowser Public Calendar for Thursday, May 21, 2015

On Thursday morning, Mayor Muriel Bowser will attend the DDOT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Summit and Symposium at the Kellogg Conference Center. Shortly after, Mayor Bowser will keynote the Mt. Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District’s Annual Meeting at the Association of American Medical Colleges. After, Mayor Bowser and US Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro will take a walking tour through the Shaw neighborhood to kick off HUD’s 50th anniversary. In the afternoon, Mayor Bowser will attend the DigiGirlz Day Event. DigiGirlz is a Microsoft initiative which aims to address the gender gap in technology roles. In the evening, Mayor Bowser will attend Family Matters of Greater Washington Annual Awards Gala.
