(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, November 3 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser and Chief Robert J. Contee, III of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) will highlight strategies and resources for residents to reduce the risk of package theft during the holiday season.
The Mayor and MPD will also encourage residents to participate in the Private Security Camera System Incentive Program and also highlight Safe Exchange Zones where residents can safely meet up to exchange items bought and sold on the internet.
