Nomination Guidelines

Directions

Please provide specific, detailed examples to support your nomination. The information you provide will be used by the Selection Committee to determine the recipient of the Mayoral Awards. Please send any attachments to [email protected].

Nomination Criteria

Carefully review the nomination criteria outlined in the nomination rubric to determine the most appropriate person, team or agency to nominate. While the District recognizes the hard work and dedication of DC government employees, this program is designed to celebrate those employees who demonstrate and uphold the Mayor’s values each day.

Each nomination must be based on all of the following criteria:

  • The nominee’s performance must exhibit all four (4) Mayoral Values.
