(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Tuesday, December 13 at 3 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser, Metropolitan Police Department Interim Chief Peter Newsham, and District officials will participate in a Ward 7 community walk to address concerns in the Benning Ridge and Marshall Heights neighborhood. Following the community walk, Mayor Bowser will host community office hours at Benning Park Community Center. The Mayor will address progress in public safety, including decreases in homicides, robberies and assaults with dangerous weapons. Note: Office hours have been pre-scheduled.
