Departing on Sunday and returning on Tuesday, Mayor Bowser will be in Las Vegas for the annual ICSC Global Retail Real Estate Convention to promote DC as a thriving market for retail, highlight neighborhoods in need of retail amenities, and mark the District’s 21st year of participation.
- On Thursday, Mayor Bowser will provide remarks at the Africa Day 2019 Gala hosted by African embassies and the African Union Representational Mission to the United States.
- On Friday, Mayor Bowser will celebrate National Public Works Week with Department of Public Works employees. Mayor Bowser will also kick off the District’s 2019 summer outdoor pool season at Langdon Park Recreation Center.
