  • On Monday, Mayor Bowser will open the District of Columbia Infrastructure Academy, a workforce training program to put residents on pathways to the middle class.
  • On Tuesday, Mayor Bowser will join with Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-22) for a media conference call to highlight Florida Senator Marco Rubio’s hypocritical legislation that would legalize assault weapons and high capacity magazines in the District while backing stronger restrictions for Floridians. Participants will be calling on the Senator to withdraw his bill before the March for Our Lives.
  • On Wednesday, Mayor Bowser will join the upcoming cadet class of the Metropolitan Police Department to highlight a first of its kind partnership among MPD, the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the University of the District of Columbia. All sworn and civilian MPD members tour the NMAAHC as part of a course taught by professors from UDC to provide insight toward the African American experience in DC.
  • On Thursday, Mayor Bowser will address the 2018 Vision Zero Regional Summit, a conference to discuss effective strategies to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries. That evening, the Mayor will deliver her annual State of the District Address at the University of the District of Columbia.
  • On Friday, Mayor Bowser will join the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Minority Business Expo.
  • On Saturday, Mayor Bowser will join the Coalition for Nonprofit Housing & Economic Development at its Housing for All Rally.
