- On Monday morning, Mayor Bowser will hold a press conference on transforming health care delivery. That evening, Mayor Bowser will provide remarks at the 2nd Annual Miles Rawls Day Ceremony and recognize the Goodman Summertime Basketball League for its contributions to Ward 8 and the District.
- On Tuesday, Mayor Bowser will host a celebration to kick off Immigrant Heritage Month, featuring cultural showcases and performances. At the event, Mayor Bowser will award grant funding to support District residents going through the naturalization process, funded through a partnership between DC Government and the National Immigration Forum.
- On Thursday morning, Mayor Bowser will launch a public-private partnership focused on ending homelessness. Mayor Bowser will also attend a celebration of Kojo Nnamdi’s 20 years on air with WAMU. Mayor Bowser will serve as honorary chair of Step Afrika’s 25th Anniversary Gala.
- On Friday, Mayor Bowser will celebrate 50 years of Sesame Street.
- On Saturday, Mayor Bowser will cut the ribbon on The Fields at RFK Campus and host a community celebration with food, music and activities. Later, Mayor Bowser will march in the 2019 Capital Pride Parade.
- On Sunday, Mayor Bowser will provide remarks at Takoma Park Baptist Church’s 100th Anniversary worship service.
