  • On Monday, Mayor Bowser will join parents, teachers, and administrators at a DC Public Charter School Board meeting.
  • On Tuesday, Mayor Bowser will host the first Mayor-Council breakfast of 2020 to discuss several issues, including the Administration’s investments and priorities to build a safer, stronger DC.
  • On Wednesday, Mayor Bowser will hold her quarterly cabinet meeting, where she will convene and collaborate with District officials on solutions to keep Washington, DC moving forward in 2020.
  • On Thursday, Mayor Bowser will attend a ceremony to dedicate a U.S. Postal Service stamp for Gwen Ifill as part of its Black Heritage series, and the Mayor will honor her legacy by issuing a proclamation declaring Gwen Ifill Day in Washington, DC. That evening, the Mayor will recognize DCPS educators at the Standing Ovation Awards Ceremony.
  • On Friday, Mayor Bowser will launch the application period for youth and employers who want to participate in the 2020 Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program.
  • On Saturday, Mayor Bowser will kick off the 16th Street Circle Improvement Project, which will advance the Mayor’s Vision Zero goals by creating a safer passage for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.
