Later, Mayor Bowser leads a Ward 3 community walk and will be joined by Administration officials to discuss strategies for preventing property crimes, such as theft from auto.
  • On Thursday, Mayor Bowser hosts a luncheon with faith leaders at Riverside Baptist Church, to discuss ways the faith community can help prevent hate crimes and reduce gun violence.
  • On Friday, Mayor Bowser travels to Alabama as part of a Congressional delegation to mark the 54th anniversary of the Selma Bridge Crossing. During this annual pilgrimage, the Mayor will visit several historic civil rights sites.
