- On Monday, Mayor Bowser will kick off her annual Summer Crime Prevention Initiative at a community public safety walk in Ward 8.
- On Wednesday, Mayor Bowser will attend the Sasha Bruce Youthwork Benefit to Prevent & End Youth Homelessness to discuss what DC is doing in partnership with Sasha Bruce to improve the lives of homeless youth and end youth homelessness. Later, the Mayor, along with Essence Magazine, will host an unveiling reception to celebrate a feature in the magazine on black women mayors across the country.
- On Thursday, Mayor Bowser will participate in the African American Mayors Association Annual Conference. Later, she will attend the Ball for the Mall Gala.
- On Friday, after launching the nurse triage line last week, Mayor Bowser will celebrate the graduation of 15 recruits who have successfully completed an intensive training curriculum that has prepared them to serve the District of Columbia as Firefighters/Paramedics. After, the Mayor will attend the DCPS Principals Leadership Academy, a quarterly district-wide meeting where principals have opportunities to hear from one another, share best practices, and provide input on district-wide initiatives and challenging topics affecting schools.
