Mayor Bowser to Visit Capital City Public Charter School to Highlight Improved Student Achievement

(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, October 2, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will visit Capital City Public Charter School to meet with students and teachers and congratulate them on their improvements on the 2019 Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) results. The students improved their average scores by five percentage points in math and five percentage points in English language arts.

Mayor Bowser will also make a special announcement honoring a member of the school’s faculty.
