(Washington, DC) - On Wednesday, September 27 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser, the Anacostia Business Improvement District (BID), and various community and District officials will unveil the inaugural MuralsDC Anacostia Project at the Sandlot Anacostia. This project continues the ongoing celebration of and investment in the Anacostia Arts and Culture District the Mayor announced earlier this year.
During the event, the Mayor will also unveil the new Anacostia BID Art to Go-Go shuttle, a 15-seat minibus that will allow residents and tourists to explore Anacostia’s creative community and encourage residents to participate in the ongoing events for 202Creates Month.
