(Washington, DC) On Monday, February 25, at 1 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser along with members of her administration and the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) will unveil and cut the ribbon on the Downtown Day Services Center for individuals experiencing homelessness.
The center will feature housing, technology, and healthcare facilities that will enable the District to connect more individuals with the resources and supports needed to secure permanent housing. This opening of this center also marks monumental progress in Mayor Bowser’s commitment to making homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring.
