Mayor Bowser to Tour New Innovation Labs at DCPL

(Washington, DC) – Tomorrow, Mayor Muriel Bowser will visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library to tour two new innovative spaces, a fabrication lab and a recording and editing studio. The two new spaces, along with the existing Digital Commons and Dream Lab, are part of the new “The Labs at DC Public Library.”  The Labs are designed for the District's growing community of entrepreneurs, developers, designers, mentors, students and educators. 

The visit will help promote innoMAYtion, a month-long initiative spearheaded by Mayor Bowser to showcase innovative programs that create jobs, engage residents and position the District of Columbia as a hub of innovation.
