Mayor Bowser to Release FY24 Green Book Opportunities Alongside Downtown Business Leaders

Wednesday, January 3, 2024

(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, January 4 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by District officials and the Downtown DC business community to outline the record-breaking opportunities for DC-based businesses in the Fiscal Year 2024 Green Book.

First launched in 2016, the Green Book provides DC-based Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) with an agency-by-agency overview of available opportunities to do business with District government. Each agency and office sets a yearly target on spending dedicated to local businesses, and the Green Book allows SBEs to search for, identify, and bid on these opportunities by industry.

The Green Book is part of Mayor Bowser’s commitment to provide increased opportunities for local businesses and ensure all Washingtonians get a fair shot.
