(Washington, DC) Tomorrow, Mayor Muriel Bowser and DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services Chief Gregory Dean will announce recent training success in the Hands on Hearts CPR program launched last October. Mayor Bowser initiated the program with a goal of training 5,000 people in the first year. FEMS achieved this goal in March and has continued training efforts.
The Hands on Hearts CPR Program is an initiative of the DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department and provides free hands-only CPR training.
