On Wednesday morning, Mayor Muriel Bowser will host a press conference on the new $10.50 minimum wage at Good Food Markets. In the evening, Mayor Bowser will open her Anacostia office at 2235 Shannon Place, SE. This is the newest DC Government office east of the river and will house the Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity, the DC Taxicab Commission, the DC Lottery and the DC Department of Transportation’s Business Opportunity and Workforce Development Center.
