Mayor Bowser Public Calendar for Tuesday, May 12, 2015

On Tuesday morning, Mayor Muriel Bowser will join Property Group Partners to break ground on Capitol Crossing, a $1.3 billion project that will transform a seven-acre site in Ward 6 into a cityscape spanning three blocks, reuniting the East End and Capitol Hill communities. In the afternoon, Mayor Bowser will speak to the Greater Washington Board of Trade’s board of directors about her Administration’s priorities. Later, Mayor Bowser and her education team will meet with incoming UDC President Ronald Mason Jr. at the John A. Wilson Building. In the evening, Mayor Bowser will attend the National Cherry Blossom Festival Thank You Dinner at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador. After, Mayor Bowser will deliver remarks at the graduation ceremony for the Turner School of Construction Management at Howard University’s Blackburn Center.
