On Thursday morning, Mayor Bowser will deliver remarks at the National Urban League’s State of Black America Event. Mayor Bowser will then participate in a press conference to celebrate the “topping off” of the Watergate Hotel’s Grand Ballroom, a major milestone for the hotel’s entire $125 million renovation. Later in the evening, Mayor Bowser will attend the Sheroes of the Movement Awards Ceremony and the Bloomingdale Civic Association Meeting.
