On Saturday morning, Mayor Muriel Bowser will participate in the FitDC! Ward 6 Walk, an initiative to promote healthy living through exercise and healthy eating. Later, Mayor Bowser will deliver remarks at the Habitat for Humanity dedication of 11 new homes which complete the final phase of Habitat’s Ivy City build. In the evening, Mayor Bowser will deliver remarks at the annual The Arc After Dark fundraiser — an evening honoring the eleven resident nonprofits providing services to children and families at Theatre Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus.
On Sunday, Mayor Muriel Bowser will attend the Bicentennial Celebration for Foundry United Methodist Church. In the afternoon, Mayor Bowser will attend the Washington DC Football Team's game against the Miami Dolphins.
