On Monday morning, Mayor Muriel Bowser will participate in the Slow Down Campaign to remind drivers that school is back in session and that they should slow down in school zones. Directly following, Mayor Bowser will visit Brent Elementary School. After, Mayor Bowser will make an education announcement at H.D. Woodson Senior High School. Later, Mayor Bowser will visit Dorothy I. Height Elementary School to greet students and staff on the first day of school. Following the visit to Dorothy I. Height Elementary School, Mayor Bowser will participate in the afternoon Slow Down Campaign in Petworth.
