On Friday morning, Mayor Bowser will attend the Career Day at Marie Reed Elementary School. After, Mayor Bowser is scheduled to do a live, in-studio interview with Channel 8’s Bruce Depuyt. Following, Mayor Bowser will attend the Partner Appreciation Awards Ceremony at the Office on Returning Citizens Affairs. Later, Mayor Bowser will attend the ‘I am Jesse Owens’ mural dedication ceremony at the Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center. Mayor Bowser will represent the District in honoring the Duke Ellington School of the Arts students who designed and created the mural.
