(Washington, DC) – On Monday, July 1, at 11:30 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will mark the third increase to the minimum wage under the #Fightfor15 legislation that she introduced and championed in 2016. Effective July 1, 2019, the District’s minimum wage will increase from $13.25 to $14.00 per hour, and the minimum wage for tipped workers will increase from $3.89 to $4.45.
