On Monday, February 3, at 11:30 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will unveil the DC Public Schools Pocket Guide, a new tool to assist students, parents, guardians and staff to discuss school-based budgeting. This announcement kicks off Fair Shot February, a series of engagements ahead of the Fiscal Year 2021 Budget Presentation in March.
Since October, DCPS has engaged students, school leaders, educators, and community members through budget roundtables, public hearings, and community forums. Mayor Bowser will also share additional investments made in DCPS that will support students, schools, educators, and the community.
