(Washington, DC) – On Friday, May 31, at 11 am, Mayor Bowser will kick off a pilot project to install and operate high visibility designated bus lanes along H and I Streets NW during peak rush hours, beginning June 3.
Up to 70 buses per hour travel the H and I Street bus corridors during peak hours. The bus lanes will improve travel speeds and reliability for up to 80,000 Metrobus riders in the District.
