(Washington, DC) – On Saturday, February 1 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will kick off the 16th Street NW Circle Improvement Project to create safer passage for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers through this busy corridor, which connects the District and Montgomery County, Maryland. This project will advance the Mayor’s Vision Zero goals to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries for roadway users by 2024.
