(Washington, DC) – On Friday, May 24, at 3 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will be joined by members of the community for the annual “Jump in, DC” celebration to mark the beginning of outdoor pool season. This event comes as the Trust for Public Land announced that, for the fourth consecutive year, the District was rated as having the best park system in the United States.
The event will feature food, games, and activities, as well as music curated by WPGC’s DJ Flexx. The public is invited to register to attend by visiting jumpindc.splashthat.com.
