(Washington, DC) – On Friday, November 18 at 12 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by Downtown BID and District officials to celebrate a #HollyJollyDC holiday season and cut the ribbon on the Downtown DC Holiday Market. In its 18th year, Downtown DC’s outdoor market will house more than 70 small and local businesses from November 18 through December 23.
Mayor Bowser will also highlight the beginning of The Washington Ballet’s holiday season and the upcoming partnership with Enchant Christmas. From November 25 to January 1, visitors can purchase Enchant Christmas tickets and explore the holiday themed village at Nationals Park where there will be opportunities to ice-skate, watch live entertainment, dine, shop for the holidays, and meet Santa & Mrs. Claus.
