(Washington, DC) – Tomorrow, Mayor Muriel Bowser will join animation development company Pigmental Studios’ and Gallaudet University to announce Pigmental’s new headquarters in the District of Columbia. Pigmental Studios, whose animators have worked with Disney, Dreamworks and Pixar, will produce animated content in feature film and television while based in the District.
The announcement of Pigmental’s new DC studio rounds out Mayor Bowser’s month-long innoMAYtion initiative to highlight innovation programs that engage residents, position the District as a hub of innovative activity and create pathways to the middle class.
