Mayor Bowser Invites Residents to Attend 15th Annual Disability Expo

(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, October 26 at 10 am, as part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Office of Disability Rights will host the 15th Annual Disability Expo.

The event, held in partnership with several District Government agencies, highlights programs and opportunities in DC while advancing the conversation on equal opportunities and inclusive environments for people with disabilities.

The expo’s theme this year is “Disability: Part of the Equity Equation” and the event will include more than 50 exhibits on important topics such as housing, employment opportunities, mental health, and wellness.
