(Washington, DC)– On Wednesday, April 9 at 5:30 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will host the “Salute to Public Service” ceremony to honor the dedication and service of District employees and local, regional, and federal partners who played integral roles during a series of significant events in January 2025.
Those events included the Counting and Certification of Electoral Votes, the State Funeral of President Jimmy Carter, the 60th Presidential Inauguration, a Snow Emergency, and the response to the January 29 aircraft collision over the Potomac River.
