(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, June 23, at 12 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), and partners in the tourism and hospitality industry will launch “Experience DC,” a new advertising campaign aimed at attracting more domestic leisure visitors and out-of-state travelers to Washington, D.C. As part of the launch of the new campaign, the Mayor will ride a Big Bus to Ben’s Chili Bowl and host a rally encouraging people to support the economic recovery of Washington, D.C. by experiencing all the city has to offer.
