Mayor Bowser to Host Public Safety Briefing for Fourth of July

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Friday, June 30, at 2 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will provide updates on the District’s preparations ahead of the Fourth of July holiday. The Mayor will discuss public safety plans to keep residents and visitors safe, mitigate traffic, and manage situations caused by large groups touring the city or participating in celebratory activities, including parades. Mayor Bowser will also highlight fire prevention, fireworks safety, and tips to avoid heat exhaustion.
