(Washington, DC) – Tomorrow, July 1 at 4 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will host an open house at the newest DC government office, located on Shannon Place, SE in Ward 8. Mayor Bowser will have an office at the facility, as will Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity Courtney R. Snowden. The DC Lottery, DC Taxicab Commission and DDOT Business Opportunity and Workforce Development Center – key agencies in the Administration’s effort to create pathways to the middle class for all District residents – are also housed in the building.
The event will feature live music, refreshments and other entertainment to celebrate the new offices. The event is free and open to the public.
