(Washington, DC) – On Tuesday, October 26, at 6:30 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Mayor’s Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning Affairs will host the 34th Annual 17th Street High Heel Race.
Community members are invited to the Dupont Circle neighborhood to cheer on drag performers as they show off their extravagant outfits and race down the historic 17th Street NW. The race will cover three blocks and will last less than 10 minutes, but festivities will take place throughout the evening.

Festivities begin at 6:30 pm and the race will begin at 9 pm
