Mayor Bowser to Hold Briefing on the District’s Coronavirus Monitoring, Preparation, and Response

(Washington, DC) – On Tuesday, March 3, at 12 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will hold a briefing on the District’s monitoring, preparation, and response to the coronavirus, technically known as COVID-19.

Last week, Mayor Bowser issued a Mayor’s Order designating DC Health and the DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency responsible for coordinating the District’s emergency response planning for any potential impacts from coronavirus.
