Mayor Bowser to Deliver 2017 State of the District Address

(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, March 30, at 6:30 pm., Mayor Muriel Bowser will deliver the State of the District Address at the University of District of Columbia (UDC) – Theatre of the Arts.

Mayor Bowser will use the opportunity to address DC residents from all 8 wards, reflect on her Administration’s accomplishments from this past year, and discuss her vision for more inclusive prosperity in Washington, DC. Prior to the State of the District Address, the Administration will host a welcoming reception in the lobby of UDC – Theatre of the Arts at 5 pm.

No fliers, posters, signage, large bags, and outside food or drink will be allowed in the venue. To RSVP, visit 2017stateofthedistrict.eventbrite.com.

PRESS LOGISTICS:

Members of the media are asked to RSVP to [email protected] by Thursday, March 30 at 1 pm, to receive parking permits and for additional instructions. Parking for satellite trucks and permits will be distributed on a first–come, first–served basis. Upon arrival, press must check-in at the press table on-site in the lobby. The Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment will also provide HD – SDI feed to primary cameras for media outlets.
