Mayor Bowser to Cut Ribbon on Modernized Roosevelt High School Field

(Washington, DC) – On Friday, August 30, at 5:30 pm, Mayor Bowser will cut the ribbon at the newly modernized Roosevelt High School athletic field, ahead of their first home football game.

Mayor Bowser’s investments have modernized 26 District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), and she has committed more than $1.3 billion over the next six years for continued modernization of DCPS schools. In addition to the Roosevelt High School athletic field, five fully modernized schools opened this fall. Through these modernizations, Mayor Bowser has focused on providing students with world-class facilities to learn and thrive in.
