Mayor Bowser to Cut Ribbon on the Anacostia Safe Commercial Corridor Hub

(Washington, DC) – On Monday, May 13 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by community members and District leadership to cut the ribbon on the Anacostia Safe Commercial Corridor Hub. This is the District’s second Safe Commercial Corridor Hub, following the opening of the Chinatown location in February.

The Safe Commercial Corridor Hubs, which employ outreach teams from multiple community relations, public safety and human services agencies, are consistent with the District’s whole-of-government approach to public safety, and support the community by:

  • Connecting residents to a range of city services.
  • Working across government agencies to keep corridors safe and clean.
  • Responding in real-time to challenges in the community.
