(Washington, DC) — On Wednesday, April 8 at 9:30 am, District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser will join District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Chancellor Kaya Henderson and Howard University President Dr. Wayne A. I. Frederick to announce and expand a new dual-enrollment partnership for high school students. Starting next school year, McKinley Technology High School and Benjamin Banneker High School students will have the opportunity to enroll and receive credit from Howard University at no cost while still attending high school. This program model will also expand to all DCPS high schools over the next three years through new partnerships with other local universities.
