(Washington, DC) – On Friday, May 26 at 4 pm., Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation at the Randall Pool to host the annual “Jump in, DC” celebration and officially kick off outdoor pool season.
All outdoor pools and spray parks across the District will open to the public starting on Saturday, May 27. The event will feature a ceremonial splash in the pool and include food, music, games, and giveaways for the community to enjoy. The Mayor will also highlight $17 million in investments, available through Rec for ALL, to expand access and offerings.
