(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Saturday, January 20, at 10 am, Mayor Bowser will celebrate the reopening of the Palisades Library with a ribbon cutting. Closed for renovations in March 2017, the 20,000-square-foot library now boasts a green roof, new interior and exterior, and a variety of technological upgrades including the District’s first adult public computing section with laptops and an interactive wall for children. The Library is also now in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, one of the key reasons for its renovation.
