(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, September 28 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development (CNHED) will gather to celebrate a major investment milestone by the DC Community Anchor Partnership (DCAP).
Launched in 2017, DCAP is a high-impact collaborative of hospitals, universities, and utilities that harness their collective purchasing power to grow DC-based minority-owned business enterprises through consideration and inclusion in the contracts and procurement process.
DCAP is led by CNHED and co-convened with the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED). Mayor Bowser's Fiscal Year 2023 budget invested $455,000 and an additional $355,000 for FY24 for the administration of the program.
