Mayor Bowser to Celebrate 2025 Holiday Festivities at the Kickoff of the DowntownDC Holiday Market

(Washington, DC) – Today, Friday, November 21 at 10 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by DowntownDC BID and District officials, local makers, and community partners to celebrate the opening of the DowntownDC Holiday Market. Now in its 21st year, the DowntownDC Holiday Market boasts 119 small and local businesses on F Street NW between 7th and 9th Streets NW, including more than 20 first-time participants. The market opens on Friday, November 21 and will run through Tuesday, December 23. This year’s market will also feature a Made in DC booth highlighting a curated selection of local makers and entrepreneurs, 15 festive food vendors, and live entertainment presented by the Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment.

Residents and visitors can also enjoy other festive holiday events in Downtown DC, including Frosted at Franklin Park, which will be activated from November 21 to January 7, as well as the National Mistletoe activation at Anthem Row, which opens November 21, and the National Kiss Under the National Mistletoe on December 13.
