Mayor Bowser to Call for End to Shutdown at United States Conference of Mayors 87th Winter Meeting

(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, January 23, at 10 am, Mayor Bowser will join hundreds of mayors from across the country at the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) 87th Annual Winter Meeting to push federal leaders to address critical issues facing cities, including bringing an immediate end to the federal government shutdown. 
 
The three-day conference will run from January 23 - January 25 at the Capital Hilton Hotel and will bring together Administration officials, members of Congress, as well as business and community leaders to explore innovative solutions to the issues facing American cities today.
