On Friday, Mayor Bowser will travel to Austin, TX, to attend South by Southwest (SxSW), a major creative economy conference where she will meet with national tech leaders to promote economic opportunities in the District. Ahead of the trip, Mayor Bowser will host a press conference to announce a new technology partnership with Howard University that will help grow DC’s tech and innovation ecosystem.
