Mayor Bowser to Announce Multi-Year Effort to Strengthen Early Childhood Education Programs

Sunday, March 22, 2015

On Monday, Mayor Muriel Bowser will announce a multi-year effort to strengthen the District's early childhood education programs. The neighborhood-based program is designed to ensure more children and families benefit from early, continuous and comprehensive child development and family support services.

Monday’s event kicks off a week-long effort leading up to Mayor Bowser’s March 31 State of the District Address to highlight what the Administration is doing to help create Pathways to the Middle Class for DC residents. From providing quality early childhood education for our young people to job training for our adults, these are programs that will help put DC residents on the path to good, middle class jobs.
