Tomorrow, Mayor Muriel Bowser will launch innoMAYtion, a month-long initiative to showcase innovative programs that will create jobs, engage residents and position the District as a hub of innovation.
Events throughout the month will focus on key priorities for the Bowser Administration, including education, technology, small business, the creative economy and good government, that aim to build pathways to the middle class.
The first innoMAYtion event starts tomorrow with the Department of Small and Local Business Development. The Mayor will announce the first class to participate in the CEO Growth Academy, the first training offering of CompeteDC, a program designed to help Certified Business Enterprises and other District small businesses expand by having greater access to business opportunities.
