Amended Employer-Assisted Housing Program will Provide DC Government Employees up to $45,000 in Benefits

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Wednesday, October 4, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will highlight enhancements to the DC Government Employer-Assisted Housing Program (EHAP), which will support members of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department (FEMS), and Department of Corrections (DOC) in purchasing their first home in the District.

Employees in these specific agencies will receive up to $45,000 in benefits toward a home loan down-payment under the program – an increase of $30,000.
