(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, March 1 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser, the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and the National Park Service will kick off the annual spring celebration by welcoming DC’s Cherry Blossom Bus Tour home after a five-city four-day bus tour. During the press conference at the Conrad Washington hotel in DC, the National Park Service will reveal the highly anticipated predicted peak blooming period of the blossoms surrounding the Tidal Basin.
The 2023 National Cherry Blossom Festival will take place between March 20 to April 16. Spring’s biggest welcome party will bring back much-loved traditions, plus new collaborations and experiences for four weeks of fun, food, culture, and entertainment.
